FeatherlightPetals shed, cold winds ripped to carry
delicate and pale, silver sheen reflectant sun
fallen to the bottom for death and decay
but winter grasses froze them as they lay
suspended in place, so beautiful in disgrace

Moon swept darkness spent our hours
thought absorbent demon's breath
colors blanded into gray and white
barren landscapes fill sorrow's eyes
starlit wonders hold hope's embrace

Wounds dressed in years of salt and fear
bred glistening scars wisdom strength
ever wept endurance memoirs
pain carried lovers to shadow's light
and fate drove the key to destiny's door

Upon parchment wishes faith written
words inked from tea
Liquid PainStale thoughts within a filtered mind
strain your eyes to see inside of mine

Drown your sorrows in liquid pain
liquid pleasure, going insane

Too blind to see the door that awaits you
tripping over the fog of haunted memories

Home inside everlasting melancholy
peace you find in riding a dead sea

Try so hard to find truth inside your quiet lies
forever waiting for a fairytale's nightmare
Go Ahead and Break MeTake my words and spin them for me
fasten your daggers and sharpen your knives
bring your fires to brighten the night
Write my riddles and tell them for me
reach inside my mind and read it to me
point your fingers and blind my eyes
stab my soul and bleed my heart
cry my tears then steal them from me
dare to love me then wish me to die
mold my life and tell me your right

Paper FacePorcelain skin stretched over blackened veins
bloodshot eyes conceal your tear stitched lies
but your pouting lips can't hide the devil's smile
paper face confess your sickening head

Rip the feathers from a beating heart
bury the bones of still breathing flesh
You are the sands of the disillusioned,
scratching at the throats of the parched.

So sing the songs of the damned and let the flowers weep
but it is not for me they cry in the thickness of this night
as I wash my bleeding skin of your filthy lies
I hear forgotten prayers lust in the candle's light

Let illusions wash away
and the ties of pain be broken
Hate will dissipate
